To ensure your alarm will work when you need it, it should be tested monthly. The steps are simple:

• Phone the control room to let them know you will be testing your alarm
• Turn off your electricity mains (to ensure the battery backup works)
• Hold the panic button for 3 seconds (just pushing it won't set it off)
• Confirm with the control room that they received notification of the loss of power and the panic button.
• Turn your mains back on.
