  • Housebreaking and theft in Susan St reported on 10 December. Lock broken on garage door.  2 mountain bikes and BMX stolen from the garage.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Coleridge St reported on 11 December. VW Golf stolen.
  • Other theft in Derwent St reported on 12 December. Garden furniture stolen.
  • Domestic violence in Reaper St reported on 12 December. Husband and wife fighting and throwing things around the house.
  • Domestic violence in Wilge St reported on 13 December. Woman assaulted by her boyfriend.
  • Theft out of motor vehicle in Farrarmer Gardens reported on 15 December. Radio stolen out of a Golf.  3 suspects were spotted running away.
  • Hijacking in Longfellow St reported on 17 December. Peugot was hijacked by 3 armed Black men in a Venture.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Sapphire St reported on 20 December. Citi Golf stolen.
  • Attempted theft of motor vehicle in Kipling St reported on 20 December. Client phoned in saying someone was trying to steal a vehicle.  Suspects were disturbed and fled.
  • Attempted hijacking in De la Mare St reported on 20 December. When victim pulled into her driveway, 4 men in a Mazda Midge tried to box her in.  Her husband came out of the house and they drove off.
  • Housebreaking and theft in Daffodil St reported on 20 December. A Black man had entered the property and cut the lock on the gate.  A white taxi was found inside the yard with a fridge next to it.  When questioned, they said the fridge belonged to the Black man, which it didn’t.  Suspect was arrested.
  • Housebreaking and theft in Whitehouse St reported on 23 December. Front gate and front door forced open.  TV stolen.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Crocodile St reported on 23 December. Citi Golf stolen, believed to be stolen by victim's boyfriend.
  • Hijacking at Engen in Mercury St reported on 23 December. Victim stopped at the garage to fix a puncture when he was approached by 3 Black men. They put him in the back of his Opel Astra and drove off, dropping him off at the Dam in Alphen Park.
  • Hijacking in Daffodil St reported on 24 December. Victim was reversing out of his driveway when an armed man jumped out of the bushes, then 2 more men jumped out of a vehicle.  They hijacked his Condor.
  • Housebreaking and theft in Main St reported on 28 December. Entry gained by removing tiles from the roof.  Doors broken open from the inside.  2 computers, 4 TVs, printer and cash stolen.
  • Housebreaking and theft in Birchwood Rd reported on 28 December. Garage door and kitchen door both forced open but nothing appears to be missing.
  • Armed robbery at Daniella's Jewellers, The Square reported on 29 December. 2 Black men and a Black lady entered the shop and held the employee up at gunpoint.  The Black lady packed all the jewellery into a bag while one of the men tried to open the safe.
  • Other theft in Southy St reported on 29 December. The gardener tried to steal the weedeater by throwing it over the wall.  When spotted the gardener ran off. Weedeater recovered.
  • Hijacking  in Stanley St reported on 29 December. He drove up to his driveway when 2 or 3 armed Black men approached him and hijacked his Citreon.
  • Theft out of motor vehicle at Syringa Flats reported on 31 December. Window broken and radio stolen.
  • Theft out of motor vehicle at Syringa Flats reported on 31 December. Door of bakkie broken open.  Radio stolen.
