Theft out of motor vehicle in Village, 23 July. Camera, cash and sunglasses stolen out of Isuzu bakkie – not locked.
Housebreaking and theft in Sonop Caravan Park, 24 July. Lock of storeroom broken. Drill and welding machine stolen.
Armed robbery at Bailey's Kwik Spar, 25 July. 7 armed Black men entered the store and held up cashiers. Took the money from the tills. One of the suspects dropped money cnr Cambridge and Mariner. Suspect arrested with cash in his pocket.
Other theft in Gamtoos, 25 July. Gate motor stolen.
Theft out of motor vehicle in Skylark, 21 July. Window of Subaru broken and console ripped out. Radio and cash stolen.
Housebreaking and theft in Van Vuuren, 21 July. Window forced open and laptop stolen through the window.
Attempted hijacking in Derwent, 23 July. Client in Whitehouse phoned in to say there was something happening in Derwent. 2 Black men (not sure if they were armed) tried to hijack victim’s Jetta. They believe they were followed. Suspects smashed one of the windows using a jack. Suspects took off without getting the vehicle.
Attempted murder in Fairview Flats, 23 July. Suspect is apparently unstable, got into a fight with his girlfriend and pushed her off the balcony.
Theft out of motor vehicle in Sapphire, 23 July. Small side window broken and radio stolen out of Golf.
