• Attempted theft out of motor vehicle in Heywood on 24.11.10 at 13h03. Suspects forced open door of BMW but nothing appears to be missing.
• Housebreaking and theft in Chrome on 23.11.10 at 10h16. Security gate and back door forced open.  Jewellery stolen.
• Domestic violence in Cambridge Gardens on 22.11.10 at 22h41. She and her son were arguing and he hit his mother.

• Hijacking in Reaper on 20.11.10 at 19h12. She pulled into the driveway when 3 armed suspects hijacked her of her Audi A4.

We have received reports of 2 black males in a bakkie (either dark blue or charcoal) operating in the Farrarmere area, pretending to be swimming pool repairmen. 

Please ensure that your domestic worker is aware of this and does not allow anyone onto the premises.  Please advise your workers to phone the Control Room immediately (0861 425 493) if anyone unexpected turns up at your gate on the pretext of being there to carry out repairs, be it swimming pool, TV or electrical appliances, even the telephone.

Rather be safe than sorry.

• Hijacking in Stanley St on 9.11.10 at 06h54. He stopped at the gate when an armed black male forced him out of his vehicle and hijacked his VW Golf.  Vehicle was recovered in Brakpan.

• Domestic violence in Mallstrom on 8.11.10 at 18h25. Resident in Nicola reported people arguing and fighting in the middle of the street – ex husband and wife and new husband.
• Theft out of motor vehicle in Starlight on 8.11.10 at 08h55. Window smashed in Opel Corsa and Atos – radio/sound system stolen out of both vehicles.
