  • Attempted Rape in Blyde, 25 November. Previous day victim was followed to the station by a man who was sitting outside No. 23.  When she arrived at work, the same man was there and grabbed her and attempted to rape her.  She managed to get free and run into the house. Suspect was arrested.

  • Hijacking in Beryl St, 19 November. When victim was driving in Beryl St she spotted a Mazda Midge parked in the street. When the suspects saw her they drove off.  She pulled into her driveway and got out to open the gate. The Mazda appeared again and stopped behind her. A black male got out and threatened to shoot her. They hijacked her Golf.
  • Other theft in Kei, 21 November. Gate motor stolen.
  • Hijacking cnr Cambridge and Chaucer, 21 November. Victim was dropping someone off when 2 armed Black men approached and hijacked his Golf.
  • Housebreaking and theft in Christien, 21 November. Kitchen window broken. Laptop stolen.
  • Housebreaking and theft in van Vuuren, 21 November. Storeroom lock broken. Bicycle stolen.
  • Housebreaking and theft in Main Rd, 20 November. Entry gained through the roof. Alarm ripped out and CCTV system damaged.  ack door also forced open. Safe and laptop stolen.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Bayley, 23 November. Victim's Ford Escort was stolen from Bayley St.

  • Armed robbery at Bayley's Kwik Spar, 10 November. 5 armed suspects held up the store. 1 customer and 1 cashier shot.  Suspects took the money from 2 tills and fled.

  • Hijacking in Bayley St, 8 November. 2 suspects hijacked victim of his Golf in front of the premises.
  • Hijacking in Elizabeth Villas, 8 November. Victim stopped at the flat and started to get out of her vehicle when 2 Black men pointed a gun at her neck and hijacked her Corsa.

  • Armed robbery in Rainbow, 29 October. 7 armed suspects held up the 2 ladies in the house and took TVs, computers, hifi, money, food & alcohol.  The suspects also took her Mercedes. As well as the keys to her businesses premises.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Mercury, 31 October. Golf Velocity stolen – parked in front of the premises.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Dawn. 31 October. VW Fox stolen – parked in front of premises. Recovered in Johannesburg.
  • Assault cnr Umgeni & Crocodile, 31 October. A Black man tried to push the victim off the road with his Venture, then followed him home and started assaulting him.  Black man says victim hit him first.
