• Hijacking in Cancer, 24 August. Victim stopped at his driveway when 3 armed Black men in an Audi hijacked him of his Citi Golf.
• Other theft in Southy, 24 August. Gate motor stolen.
• Housebreaking and theft in Kingswood, 24 August. Gate forced off rail. 3 Black suspects broke the locks on the door.  TV stolen.                                 

Our precinct coordinator will be out of the office until 2 September,
during this time no crime reports will be posted.

• Housebreaking in Sapphire, 21 August. Window broken. Resident arrived home and disturbed the suspects and they fled without taking anything.
• Kidnapping in Milton, 22 August. When the victim stopped in front of his gate,  a black Polo stopped behind him. The occupants ordered him to get into their car. They also took cartons of cigarettes. They dropped him off in Tembisa.

• Theft of motor vehicle in Coleridge, 19 August. Hyundai and Golf stolen from the premises.

• Theft out of motor vehicle in Cambridge, 25 August. Small rear window broken of Golf. Wallet stolen out of vehicle.
• Hijacking in Crocodile, 18 August. Victim stopped in front of her gate when a BMW stopped and an armed Black man got out and approached her.  He pointed the firarm at her and told her to get out of the vehicle.  They hijacked her Mini Cooper
• Other theft at Dichem in The Square, 17 August. Suspect was caught stealing goods from the shop.
• Attempted other theft in Chrome, 18 August. Gate lifted off rail and gate motor lock broken but they gate motor was not taken.

• Domestic violence in Keswick, 12 August. Lady was terrorised by her domestic worker.
• Housebreaking and theft  in Virgo, 1 August. Bedroom window removed from frame TV, DVD player, 2 computers, clothing and bedding stolen.
• Theft of motor vehicle in Uys Krige, 15 August. Lock on gate broken. Honda Ballade stolen from the premises.
• Theft of motor vehicle at  Pick 'n Pay Center, 14 August. Mazda stolen from the parking area.
• Assault at BP Tom Jones, 14 August. When victim was driving on the highway another driver was causing trouble.  He came off the highway and stopped at BP Tom Jones.  The other car pulled in and the driver got out and started hitting him

• Attempted cable theft in Main Road, 12 August. Cable cut but not taken.

• Attempted theft of motor vehicle corner of Village & Oak, 9 August. When owner went to his car (Ford Meteor) he found door forced open and ignition damaged.
• Cable theft in Whitehouse, 12 August. Resident phoned in to say there were 2 suspects on the premises. Cable had been cut.

• Housebreaking and theft in Gillwell, 7 August. Burglar proofing broken and dining room window broken with a brick.
• Theft of motor vehicle in Umfolosi, 7 August. Hyundai bakkie stolen from the premises.
• Robbery at Homestead Lake, 10 August. Victim and a friend were at the dam when a black man approached and robbed them of their cell phones and cash.

• Theft out of motor vehicle at Syringa Flats, 5 August. Crowbar was used to open door of Opel Corsa.  GPS stolen.

• Theft of motor vehicle in Southy, 5 August. Gate motor broken. Hyundai bakkie stolen from in front of garage.
• Dog poisoning in Kwartz, 4 August. 1 dog poisoned.

• Other theft in Southy, 3 August. Gate motor stolen.
• Theft of motor vehicle in Koper, 3 August. Gate motor damaged. Citi Golf stolen from premises.

• Attempted theft of motor vehicle at Pick 'n Pay Sheridan Centre, 29 July. 3 suspects tried to steal victim's Toyota Corolla. Suspects were found in Wilge and arrested.
• Housebreaking/Assault in Main, 30 July. Suspects entered the house via the roof.  When victim got home they were waiting inside the house for him. They assaulted him and tied him up.  Nothing was taken from the house.
• Attempted housebreaking in Bill Davey, 31 July. Suspects tried to force open sliding door but were disturbed and fled.
