  • Other theft at Bayleys Kwik Spar on 26.5.10 at 11h19. 3 staff members were caught  voiding some transactions and taking the cash.
  • Attempted theft of motor vehicle in Stanley on 25.5.10 at 20h30. Gate lifted off rail. Left side window smashed and wires cut to bypass car alarm on Toyota Corolla.  The suspects were disturbed and fled.
  • Attempted theft of motor vehicle in Masefield on 25.5.10 at 19h41. Main gate lifted off rails.  Left side window smashed.  8 suspects were spotted. Suspects fled
  • Attempted theft of motor vehicle in Bayley on 25.5.10 at 04h08. Main gate lifted off rail.  Door lock and ignition damaged.
  • Other theft in Burns on  24.5.10 at 12h05. A bakkie stopped outside the premises. A man got out and stole the drain cover.
  • Housebreaking and theft in Main on 23.5.10 at 14h11. Suspects broke in through the roof.  2 photostat machines stolen.
  • Theft of petrol at Bayleys Service Station on 21.5.10 at 08h36. Male in a Corsa bakkie put in petrol and drove off without paying.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Louis Leipoldt on 22.5.10 at 04h59. Kia stolen from the premises.
  • Other theft in Umgeni on 22.5.10 at 10h32. Gate motor stolen.
  • Theft out of motor vehicle in Keswick on 21.5.10 at 08h06. Rear window of Opel Corsa broken.  Radio stolen.
  • Attempted housebreaking in Marlboro Place on 18.5.10 at 13h34. Sliding door damaged but no access gained.

  • Armed robbery in Mooi on 17.5.10 at 19h44. Client opened the door for friends who had arrived.  Suspects (3 black men - 1 armed) were already on the premises and forced their way into the house. Cellphones and jewellery were taken.
  • Housebreaking in Taurus on 15.5.10 at 18h39. Main gate was open.  Suspects forced open security gate and front door.  Nothing appears to be missing.
  • Attempted housebreaking in Windermere on 14.5.10 at 10h49. Suspects tried to force front door open. Alarm activated and suspects fled.
  • Attempted hijacking in Sapphure on 16.5.10 at 19h32. Neighbor phoned in after hearing a gunshot.  Suspect had tried to hijack a Ford Bantam.  When patrolman arrived it was discovered that resident had been shot and transported to hospital.  No further details known.

Please be aware that we have had several reports of 3 black men in a charcoal Nissan bakkie calling on homes and telling the domestic workers they are there to fix the TV and once into the house the domestic worker is tied up and they help themselves to whatever they want.

Please make sure your domestic worker is informed not to let ANYONE into your home without verifying with you first.

  • Attempted housebreaking in Southy on 12.5.10 at 04h07. Client heard a noise in the yard.  When he went out he found he heard people running away.  He found his garage door open (it was not locked) but nothing appears to be missing.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Letaba on 12.5.10 at 22h16. Visitor’s Toyota Hilux stolen from outside the premises.  Window of vehicle broken – glass on the street.
  • Robbery in Cambridge on 13.5.10 at 16h22. 2 white men in a Toyota robbed a woman of her handbag.  When they drove off they collided with another vehicle.  2 suspects were arrested.
  • Attempted housebreaking in Browning on 8.5.10 at 19h47. Gate lifted off rail.  Front door forced open.  Neighbour saw suspects.  Suspects fled.
  • Other theft in Southy on 8.5.10 at 08h51. Gate motor stolen.
  • Housebreaking and theft in Starlight on 8.5.10 at 20h55. Main gate lock broken.  Small window at back of house forced open.  Laptop and jewellery stolen
  • Dog poisoning in Bill Davey on 6.5.10 at 22h34. 1 dog poisoned.

  • Other theft in Southy on 1.5.10 at 08h35. Gate motor stolen.
  • Theft out of motor vehicle in Lois Leipold on 1.5.10 at 09h33. Left side window of red bakkie broken. Radio stolen.
  • Theft of petrol at BP in Tom Jones on 1.5.10 at 03h33. 3 black men in a BMW put in petrol then drove off without paying.
  • Housebreaking and theft in Belloc on 2.5.10 at 16h35. Gate lifted off rail. Front door and safety gate forced open.  2 TVs, computer, keys and jewellery stolen.
  • Other theft in Windermere on 30.4.10 at 13h21. Main gate was not locked.  Bicycle stolen from premises.
  • Armed robbery in Kowie on 30.4.10 at 13h30. 2 suspects (1 armed) came to the front door.  When domestic worker opened the door, suspects forced their way in. Suspect fired one shot into the ground.  Cash taken.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Sheridan on 29.4.10 at 12h10. He parked his Mazda outside premises.  When he went back out he found his vehicle had been stolen.
  • Housebreaking and theft in Stanley on 29.4.10 at 14h24. Front gate forced open, as well as front door and security gate.  DVD player, laptop, camera and jewellery stolen.
  • Attempted theft out of motor vehicle in Bayley on 29.4.10 at 04h10. Locks of the doors of vehicle were broken but suspects were possibly disturbed as nothing was taken.
  • Dog poisoning in bill Davey on 29.4.10 at 04h10. 1 dog poisoned.
  • Housebreaking and theft in Rodos Palace on 27.4.10 at 14h45. Suspects broke in via the garage.  Alarm system destroyed. TV, 2 computers and jewellery stolen.
  • Robbery at Wordsworth High on 27.4.10 at 09h52. She was grabbed from b ehind and robbed of her cell phone.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Village on 27.4.10 at 07h33. Hyundai bakie stolen out of the garage.
  • Theft out of motor vehicle in Starlight on 26.4.10 at 07h14. Small window of Corsa bakkie broken.  Amp and laptop stolen.  3 computers stolen from Peugeot which was unlocked.
  • Dog poisoning in Bayley on 24.4.10 at 18h56. 3 dogs poisoned.
  • Domestic violence in Sapphire on 11.4.10 at 08h04. She and her fiancé were fighting.  He started pushing her while she had a child in her arms.
  • Housebreaking and theft Kewsick on 18.4.10 at 04h14. Lock of garage forced open.  Suspect used cover of Weber braai to pack food into.  Alarm activated.  Suspect fled and dropped the braai cover containing food and tools.
  • Housebreaking and theft/Theft of motor vehicle in Uys Krige on 18.4.10 at 14h18. Door and security gate forced open.  Stole 2 TVs, 2 computers, camera, video camera, liquor and house keys. Suspects used keys to open garage. Loaded goods into BMW and drove off.
  • Theft of petrol at Bayley Service Station on 19.4.10 at 12h42. White male put petrol in a Hilux bakkie and drove off without paying.
  • Attempted other theft in Shakespeare on 19.4.10. Suspects tried to remove copper postbox from the wall.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Alida Cllose on 22.4.10 at 06h53. Lock removed on gate. Cortina bakkie stolen from the premises.
  • Hijacking in Homestead Gardens on 22.4.10. He stopped at the gate. 3 suspects (1 armed) approached and pulled him out of the vehicle and hijacked him of his Toyota Corolla.  They also took his wallet.
  • Attempted housebreaking in Birchwood Cresc on 25.4.10 at 02h03. Living room window forced open. Alarm activated and victim screamed. Suspects fled.
  • Theft out of motor vehicle in Spray on 26.4.10 at 02h35. Side window of Hyundai broken. Radio stolen.
  • Armed robbery in Tugela on 20.4.10 at 21h48. Suspects forced their way into the house and held a gun to the lady’s head.  The took a TV which they loaded into victim’s Audi A4 and drove off.
  • Theft of motor vehicle in Cloudy on 21.4.10 at 17h31. Gate lifted off rail.  Land Cruiser stolen from the yard.
  • Theft of wheels in Bayley on 15.4.10 at 09h13. Wheels stolen off vehicle.
  • Attempted housebreaking in Coleridge on 16.4.10 at 01h10. Suspects tried to break burglar bars on sitting room window, without success. No entry gained.
